Designed for HBN 03-01 Environments
Getting ventilation right in a secure mental health ward is more complex than it looks. Every element of the built environment comes under scrutiny, from CQC inspections and clinical sign-off through to infection prevention reviews and long-term maintenance access.
A key benefit is the removable access door, which allows estates and maintenance teams to clean inside the plenum and access the connected ductwork more easily. This helps support routine cleaning, inspection, and infection control procedures, without compromising the secure, anti-ligature design of the installation.
