Wavin Hot and Cold Water Solutions - potable water systems

Wavin hot and cold water portfolio covers domestic plumbing connections through to complex commercial and high-rise installations. Range is built around two jointing technologies - push-fit and press-fit - with systems that are fully cross-compatible, enabling end-to-end potable water installations using a single supplier. 1. Wavin Hep2O Key Push-Fit System

The original plastic push-fit plumbing system for hot and cold water supply in residential and light commercial applications. Hep2O Key uses a tamper-resistant fitting demountable only with a HepKey tool, offering a secure and reliable joint.

Key features:

• In4Sure technology - a transparent end cap gives clear visual confirmation of correct pipe insertion, ensuring a reliable joint before the fitting is locked

• Tamper-resistant locking collar - fitting is secure once made and can only be demounted with the dedicated HepKey tool, preventing accidental or unauthorised disconnection

• 50-year system guarantee

• Compatible with copper pipework and the Tigris K5 press-fit system via transition fittings, enabling mixed-system installations

2. Wavin Hep2O Keyless Push-Fit System

The latest evolution of the Hep2O system. Hep2O Keyless ships pre-locked for faster installation and can be demounted by hand.

Key features:

• Pre-locked fittings supplied ready to use, eliminating a manual locking step and accelerating installation

• Tool-free demounting - fitting can be released without a HepKey, allowing quick adjustments on site

• In4Sure technology retained from the Key system for visual joint confirmation

• 50-year system guarantee; fully compatible with Hep2O Key fittings, copper and Tigris K5 press-fit

3. Wavin Tigris K5 MLCP Press-Fit

A multilayer composite pipe (MLCP) press-fit system for hot and cold potable water in residential and commercial projects. Available in 16 mm, 20 mm, 32 mm and 40 mm.

Key features:

• Acoustic leak alert - any fitting that has not been correctly pressed emits a loud whistling sound under flow, enabling rapid identification of incomplete joints before commissioning

• Opti Flow enlarged inner bore - up to 50% greater internal diameter compared with standard fittings, improving flow performance

• Multi Jaw compatibility - fittings can be pressed with common jaw profiles including U, Up, TH, H and B, working with tools already on site

• In4Sure pipe position indicator - correct pipe insertion is visible through 360° before pressing

• Compatible with Hep2O push-fit systems via transition fittings, and with Tigris K1 for larger diameter extensions

BIM Revit packages with accurate content are available for the Tigris K5 range. Design assistance is available from Wavin Design Services for complex projects. All push-fit and press-fit systems are cross-compatible through transition fittings, allowing specifiers and installers to select the most appropriate jointing method for each section of an installation without compromising system integrity.
