Wavin Soil and Waste portfolio covers individual domestic connections to complex commercial and industrial drainage stacks, the range is split into two tiers: Osma residential systems for domestic and light commercial applications, and a Commercial range for higher-specification projects where noise control, chemical resistance or enhanced performance are required.

Portfolio encompasses soil and vent pipes, waste and trap systems, self-sealing waterless traps, acoustic drainage, HDPE welded systems and solvent-weld alternatives.

1. Wavin OsmaSoil and Vent

A PVC-U soil and vent stack system for residential and commercial above-ground drainage. Available in push-fit (ring-seal) and solvent weld jointing, in three colours and multiple pipe diameters.

Sizes: Ring-seal push-fit available in 82mm, 110mm and 160mm; solvent weld available in 110mm and 160mm Colours: Black, grey and white

Key features:

• Co-moulded captive seal technology - seals are permanently retained in fittings and cannot dislodge, ensuring an airtight joint without manual alignment

• Unique keyway system - boss socket adaptors locate positively into a corresponding keyway, guaranteeing the correct fall is achieved every time

• Recycore Technology - 110mm and 160mm plain-ended and single-socketed soil pipes contain at least 50% recycled PVC-U (BS EN 1453-1 Kitemarked)

2. Wavin Osma Waste and Traps

Waste branch pipework range for connection to the OsmaSoil stack or other compatible systems, covering push-fit and solvent weld jointing, together with traps, overflows and condensate connections.

3. Wavin Osma Hep_vO Self-Sealing Waste Valve

Hep_vO is a patented self-sealing waterless trap that prevents foul sewer gases entering a building without relying on a retained water seal. World's best-selling waterless trap, received a Top Product Award 2025.

• Dry seal technology - elastomeric one-way membrane opens under waste flow and closes to create a seal; cannot fail through evaporation, siphonage, leaks or displacement

Wavin AS+ an advanced plumbing system for wastewater drainage with superior noise reduction, enhanced performance and quick installation. Designed for any environment where quiet operation is critical, including apartments, residential developments, schools, universities, hospitals, hotels and offices.

Key features:

• Comprehensive sound reduction addressing airborne, structure-borne and structural sound transmission

• Achieved through high mass, high wall thickness, low elastic modulus material and specially designed brackets

• Patented self-lubricated blue seal - reduces the insertion force required to push pipes into fittings, accelerating installation in confined or awkward spaces

• Compatible with gravity-fed rainwater systems and high-temperature/greasy water environments such as commercial kitchens

5. Wavin HDPE Soil, Waste and Vent

A fully welded high-density polyethylene system for commercial and industrial applications where a permanently sealed, chemically resistant installation is required.

Pipe diameters: 40mm to 315mm (twelve sizes) Standards: Approved to DIN 19535 and DIN EN 1519 for building pipe installation

6. Wavin Solvent Soil and Wavin Solvent Waste and Traps

PVC-U solvent-weld soil and waste system for industrial and commercial projects where a compact, space-saving installation is required. The Solvent Waste and Traps range connects seamlessly to Wavin Solvent Soil and to Wavin AS.
