Burners

(68)

Burners are used to heat water for general hot water supply, central heating or industrial processes. Read More

Single-stage burners are suited to smaller applications such as domestic properties or small commercial buildings. In mild conditions, the burner will switch on and off to maintain temperature, which can cause fluctuations and reduce efficiency.

Two-stage burners are suited to medium and larger applications. They have a valve that operates in a low-fire position for normal heat load, or a high-fire position for periods of higher demand. This can reduce temperature fluctuations and keep it even.

Modulating burners are designed to control the size of the flame output to match variable load requirements. The flame remains firing continuously, minimising fluctuations and increasing efficiency. They are suited to large industrial applications.

Burners are typically oil fired or gas fired . Dual fuel burners are also available, allowing a choice of fuel to be used.
