Prihoda designs and installs ‘make up air’ or ‘fresh air’ systems for rooms by providing high-level ducting which runs the length of the room, delivering fresh air evenly into the space all along the length of the duct.

Using their unique micro-perforation system Prihoda can either deliver the air evenly around the duct circumference or can laser the micro-perforations into strips along the side of the duct to give the air a more intentional direction, even if it is low-velocity air.

Because the material is wipe-clean and anti-bacterially treated, the finished installation is easy to clean and provides high protection against any particles from outside that may settle on the duct surface.

The system zips together making it easy to dismantle and slide out of the rails should any maintenance be required.

Applications

Laboratory Air Ventilation

Labs typically require large volumes of make-up air to replace the air extracted through fume cupboards and other equipment. Traditional systems with rigid ducting and grilles inevitably create issues with draughts, noise and balancing, not to mention cleaning. Prihoda fabric ducts can prevent all these issues by delivering cleverly engineered air patterns.

Cleanroom Air Ventilation

Cleanrooms require careful design. Cleanroom ventilation systems are installed ensuring the air is particle-free to an agreed level or class. They also need to be washable to maintain cleanliness at all times. At Prihoda, we are the only fabric ducting company that makes all standard products cleanroom quality. Our ‘Classic’ polyester material is non-fibre shedding ISO4 (Class 10) and is available in multiple colours. We also offer a laundry service to maintain the quality and perfect functioning of the fabric ducts.

Warehouse Ventilation

It’s not easy to achieve adequate ventilation in a warehouse. Moving large volumes of air through spaces of considerable size is a serious challenge when planning warehouse ventilation. Obstructions such as racks and equipment can get in the way of airflow and cause regions of stagnant air. The solution? Prihoda fabric ducting. Our fabric ducts can act as diffusers all along their length, carrying fresh air to every area and making warehouse ventilation effortlessly simple.

Manufacturing Industry Ventilation

Ventilation for manufacturing can have very specific requirements depending on what it is that the factory produces. No two factories are the same or have the same ventilation requirements. Some factories need spot cooling above conveyor belts, whereas some factory ventilation is used to provide a comfortable working environment in production areas. Prihoda fabric ducts create bespoke air patterns to deliver the air exactly where it is needed, whether it is for heating or cooling, temperature-controlled environments, smooth air mixing, etc.

Food Industry Ventilation

Food production often involves a lot of process machinery and people, which can lead to high heat energy loads. Typical room temperature requirements can be anywhere between +4oC and +18oC in production areas. High heat loads and low room temperatures lead to lots of cooling demand. We have a wealth of experience using fabric ducting systems to address these requirements. In fact, fabric ducts were initially developed for food industry ventilation.
