The Tigris K5 range of multi-layer composite pipe and press-fit fittings is designed for potable water, sanitary and heating services in commercial, industrial or residential buildings.

Designed for easy installation, performance and reliability, the system comes with a unique acoustic leak alert function, with any unsecured fittings producing a loud whistling sound to help installers detect leaks.

The system is available in a range of sizes including 16, 20, 32 and 40mm.

Tigris K5 pipes are made of a diffusion-resistant composite pipe. The multi-layer pipe consists of an inner layer pipe made of cross-linked polyethylene (PEXc), an outer layer made of stabilised Polyethylene (PE) and a middle layer of aluminium. The three layers are connected by bonding agents.

Press-fit fittings are manufactured from high-performance plastic polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) which offers resistance to high temperatures and corrosion. PPSU’s have high impact strength and resistance to stress cracking.
