Every single square metre of ducting used saves 13 plastic bottles from landfill (500ml bottles). The ducts are also flame retardant, antibacterial and non-fibre-shedding to clean room quality. They have a 10-year warranty and are available in a range of colours.
The REPREVE® material used is sourced from recycled plastic PET bottles and recycled into polyester fibre which is then used to weave Prihoda fabric ducting materials ready for manufacture. The REPREVE® recycling process saves over 66% in energy consumption and reduces water consumption by 50%, whilst overall reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 34% when compared to manufacture from virgin polyester.
Sourced from 100% post consumer bottles it is also 100% recyclable at the end of its life through the 'textile take-back' scheme, making this a truely resource-efficient product never needing to be thrown away.
