Highspeed Lubricants

Highspeed Lubricants was founded in the late 1960s in York and supplied lubricants and fuel treatments to transport and farming.

In 1989 the Course Care brand was created and the company began supplying specialised lubricants to golf clubs and others in the turf maintenance sector up and down the country - covering all of England, Scotland and Wales. Within a few years the company successfully introduced waste management services to these customers.

COUNTDown, the company's very effective diesel fuel treatment, launched in the mid-nineties, is in regular use with major retailers, transport fleets, county councils, "blue light" services and individual motorists.

June 2001 saw a management buyout and the company is now under the ownership of joint MD's, Andrew Vincent and David Mears. Investment and product development followed with the expansion of waste management services, the inclusion of a wide range of work, leisure and PPE products and the rapid growth of the company's bunded tank sales operation.

In 2003 ClearWater washdown water recycling systems were successfully launched responding to the needs of many wishing to bring their facilities up to date and comply with current legislation. With many systems installed around the country and in the Irish Republic, ClearWater is fast becoming a popular washpad water recycling system.

In 2009, and in response to demand, two new divisions were formed and websites created for Waste Away and SeparatorsPlus. To emphasise the now diverse product and services range, Highspeed Lubricants Ltd became Highspeed Group Ltd.
