Fabric ducting provides a quiet, velocity-free alternative to traditional ventilation systems and air conditioning cassettes in offices and other noise-sensitive spaces.
Low velocity and low noise
It is important to make sure that users of a space (including staff) are comfortable – employees are more productive, customers continue to shop and audiences will return to theatres if they are comfortable.
Both air velocity and noise play a large part in the quality of office, classroom and performance environments. Prihoda fabric ducting installed within these areas can provide a low noise and low velocity air diffusion system designed specifically to deliver good indoor air distribution.
Appearance
Prihoda can design a system to stand out or blend in - to highlight a room, to aesthetically work as part of the overall vision of the way the areas are designed to look, or maybe use a colour scheme and subtle shape to blend within the environment and quietly go about delivering air evenly and noiselessly within the room.
Maintenance and cleaning
Although it is unlikely the Prihoda system will need cleaning for performance reasons it is always possible that dust from entrained room air or other factors mean that a clean is necessary.
The systems are designed to be easy to uninstall (access accepted) by undoing tensioners (if fitted) and unzipping the ducting from the inlet spigot and sliding it off the rails provided.
The cleaning can be a wipe down or a full wash in a standard commercial washing machine – only normal wash temperatures and normal washing powders / detergents are required.
Once the duct is washed it can be drip dried or reinstalled damp and dried by starting the ventilation system. Fabric ducts must never be tumble dried or packed away and stored in a damp condition.
Material benefit
- Flame retardant
- Anti-bacterial protection (min 10 years efficacy)
- Non-shedding cleanroom quality
- Anti-static
- 9 stock colours free
- 10-year warranty
- Available as a recycled duct made from 100% recycled material with 100% post consumer origin (recycled plastic PET bottles)
