Prihoda fabric ducting is an ideal duct and diffuser for cleanrooms, laboratories, electronics or pharmaceutical applications because of its multiple specialist attributes.
The material is made from endless fibres, essentially meaning that all of the strands that make up a fibre all start and end at the same place, this means that the material is practically free from shedding parts or strands of fibres into the air stream. Our material is classified and certified to ISO 14644-1 to Class 4 standard.
The same cleanroom material above is applied to laboratories all over the UK using our ‘Micro-perforation’ method of air delivery. This allows us to deliver the air at very low velocity – so avoiding problems with fume cupboards – but because we laser cut these tiny perforations into the duct it also allows us to place anywhere on the duct, so we can direct the low velocity air AWAY from fume cupboard sensors without delivering a fast air velocity. No other fabric ducting company can control their low velocity air this way.
The same material discussed above is also anti-bacterial, anti-static and wipe clean, demountable and washed in a domestic washing machine if desired or simply vacuumed clean. We have incorporated carbon fibres into the weave of the duct (less than 1%) and these allow us to add a collection band on to the duct for collection and dispersal of any static electricity occurring.
Prihoda UK Ltd has created and supplied systems for Glaxosmithkline, Coopervision, Autotype, Manchester University Laboratories, Liverpool University Laboratories, Bristol and Oxford Universities as well as other universities, schools and pharmaceutical companies.
